People Operations Manager

Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to join our team. In this role, you will solve complex problems that enhance the employee experience and contribute to building diverse and equitable policies and procedures. You will focus on operational excellence in all aspects of our work, impacting both U.S. and international employees. Your efforts will ensure that our organization remains a leader in fostering an inclusive and effective workplace. You will own important components of global People Operations, as well as play a key role in the implementation of programs, processes and tools to transform Stellar Development Foundation into a once-in-a-generation company.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and support all aspects of People Operations including; off-boarding, benefits administration and open enrollment, system management, compliance, policy, people analytics, and various other strategic processes with precision and integrity.
- Create trust with employees and provide a high quality employee experience by resolving issues promptly and responding to employee questions and concerns.
- Manage sensitive and timely employee leave management cases (Cocoon) as well as employee immigration cases partnering with managers, employees, and internal/external legal counsel.
- Directly manage our People systems including HRIS (TriNet) and global EOR platform (Oyster) by providing a positive and effective employee experience.
- Lead and support People Operations projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and the overall employee experience. Proactively identify opportunities to improve and scale existing processes, and assist with change management of various programs and initiatives.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of People Operations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on payroll to ensure accurate processing of all internal changes. Maintain all employment and payroll records consistently and accurately reporting any discrepancies to the People leadership team.
- Assist Director, People Operations to develop and maintain core People analytics pillars by generating and analyzing People metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
You have:
- 5+ years of People Operations experience
- Strong and proactive written and verbal communication skills; with a natural curiosity for understanding complex systems and a passion for learning.
- Ability to work confidentiality with all levels of an organization. Effectively and positively interface with a broad range of employees and deliver excellent support
- Excited to be an all-around team player and proactive in positively contributing to the People teams culture
- Promote a culture of innovation by introducing new software, systems, and programs.
- Excellent skills with the ability to follow-through to completion
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate in a rapidly-changing environment
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and create improved efficiency
- High quality process oriented and extremely organized
- Knowledge of HR federal & state laws and regulations
Bonus Points if (optional):
- Experience with systems such as Oyster (EOR), TriNet, Ethena and Cocoon
- Experience with transition to new HRIS/PEO including project managing the implementation
We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $125,000 - $155,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
