Lead Recruiter

Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.
As a Lead Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across multiple teams, including Engineering, Product, and BD. You'll play a key role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy, driving hiring initiatives, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has experience recruiting for both technical and business roles.
In this role, you will:
- Recruit for Technical (Engineering, Product) and Business (BD, Sales, Finance, etc.) roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive hiring outcomes.
- Source, attract, and engage top talent through a combination of outbound sourcing, networking, and employer branding.
- Manage and improve our interview processes, ensuring a seamless and high-touch candidate experience.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize our recruiting strategies and track hiring performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in hiring.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the recruiting team.
- Own and drive the offer process, including crafting competitive offers, negotiating terms, and successfully closing top candidates.
- Continuously refine and improve our recruiting processes to ensure we attract and hire the best talent efficiently.
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring teams, helping them make data-informed hiring decisions.
You have:
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in both technical and business recruiting.
- Proven ability to hire across multiple functions, particularly in high-growth tech environments.
- Strong sourcing skills, with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent CRMs, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics.
- Passion for technology, startups, and building high-performing teams.
Bonus Points:
- Experience recruiting for blockchain, crypto, or fintech companies.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, Gem, or other recruiting tools.
- Experience scaling recruiting processes in a startup or high-growth environment.
We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $140,000 - $210,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
