Growth Manager: Social, Programmatic & Creative

Detroit, MI

Help empower our global customers to connect to culture through their passions.

Why you’ll love this role:

StockX is looking for a hands-on growth marketer to lead our Paid Social, Programmatic and Creative strategy. This role will own how we use channels including Meta, TikTok, programmatic, display and emerging platforms to drive incremental customer and business growth.

This is a player-coach role for someone who combines deep media buying expertise with a strong growth and experimentation mindset. You will develop channel strategy, personally operate campaigns, design tests, analyze performance and determine how we scale what works.

Creative strategy will be a critical part of the role. You will partner closely with Brand and Creative teams to translate performance insights into creative hypotheses, briefs and testing roadmaps — building a continuous learning loop between creative development and media performance.

What you’ll do:

  • Own strategy, execution and performance across Paid Social and Programmatic, including Meta, TikTok, display, streaming/CTV and emerging platforms.
  • Develop channel investment strategies focused on incremental customer acquisition and business growth, balancing scale, efficiency and experimentation.
  • Remain hands-on within advertising platforms, personally building, launching, optimizing and troubleshooting campaigns alongside the Growth Specialist.
  • Build a structured creative testing program across messaging, formats, creators, products, audiences and placements.
  • Translate media and creative performance into actionable insights and briefs for Creative, Brand and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop clear hypotheses and experimentation roadmaps to understand incrementality, channel contribution and opportunities to scale investment.
  • Evaluate new platforms, targeting capabilities, campaign types and media opportunities and develop structured tests for promising growth opportunities.
  • Partner with BI on measurement strategy, incrementality testing and interpretation of experimental results.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Lifecycle, App Growth and other teams to support launches and new customer experiences.
  • Own platform and agency relationships and ensure StockX is taking advantage of relevant new products, capabilities and betas.
  • Coach and develop a Growth Specialist while maintaining a highly collaborative, hands-on operating model.

About you:

You understand that excellent growth marketing goes beyond optimizing campaigns to platform-reported ROAS. You can identify a growth opportunity, develop a hypothesis, determine the right channel and creative approach, build the campaign, measure its incremental impact and use those learnings to determine where StockX should invest next.

  • 4+ years of hands-on performance/growth marketing experience, ideally within ecommerce, marketplaces or consumer technology.
  • Deep expertise in Meta with meaningful experience across TikTok and programmatic media.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling significant paid media budgets.
  • Strong understanding of incrementality, experimentation, attribution and the limitations of platform-reported performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect media strategy to broader customer acquisition and business outcomes.
  • Strong creative strategy instincts and experience using performance data to develop creative hypotheses and testing plans.
  • Experience working directly with creative teams, creators or agencies to turn insights into actionable briefs.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort independently interrogating performance data.
  • Experience evaluating and launching new channels or media products.
  • Comfortable moving between strategy and execution — from developing an investment thesis to personally building the campaign required to test it.
  • Experience coaching or managing junior marketers.

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and any other state or local hiring regulations, we will consider for employment any qualified applicant, including those with arrest and conviction records, in a manner consistent with the applicable regulation.
