Position Summary & Responsibilities
Embark on an exciting career as an Ellucian Colleague Financial Aid Consultant at SIG! As a seasoned professional, you'll leverage your extensive experience in college or university settings to provide strategic direction and expert guidance. Whether you're a Director, Assistant Director, or consultant, your primary focus will be on optimizing the Colleague Financial Aid module. This dynamic position involves collaborating with key stakeholders, implementing best practices, and ensuring seamless functionality to enhance financial aid processes. Travel is required to deliver top-notch consulting services. Join us in shaping the future of higher education!
- Provide Colleague implementation support such as training, functional consulting, and technical support at client sites
- Analyze current business processes and make suggestions to utilize various technological tools to help improve business processes
- Assist clients with the Financial Aid year roll in Colleague
- Assist clients to ensure they follow DOE requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years working within the Higher Education Industry as a Financial Aid Leader
- 5 or more years of experience working with Ellucian Colleague Financial Aid module, demonstrating advanced user proficiency
- Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business processes and creating efficiency
- Demonstrated expertise using Colleague to improve and automate business processes within the Financial Aid office at a college or university
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues within the Colleague Financial Aid module
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven customer service approach
- Highly self-directed with solid problem-solving expertise
- Experience developing reports in support of the various Financial Aid areas utilizing Colleague
- Ability to communicate user requirements to the technical support team
- The ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing project-based work.
- Knowledge of how Colleague is used in a variety of institutional types
- The ability to read and write SQL queries is useful for this role
Pay and Benefits
- The salary range is $90,000 -$125,000 + bonus

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location. Final compensation will be determined through mutual agreement between the successful candidate and SIG.
