Software Engineer QA

Description

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our Engineering Team’s capacity to deliver top-notch software products. In this role, you’ll be a key player in shaping our software quality assurance processes, working closely with development teams to establish test strategies, and building automated tests to ensure the highest product standards. Responsibilities:

• Lead the Software Quality Assurance lifecycle in an Agile environment.
• Understand new features, enhancements, and defect fixes within the product.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to coordinate test strategies.
• Design and create comprehensive test plans, cases, and test data.
• Develop and execute automated UI, functional, and non-functional tests.
• Improve and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) automation flows.
• Review test results, log defects, and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Troubleshoot issues in systems under test and report defects.
• Prepare and publish detailed test results and statistics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in WebUI Automation QA engineering
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on Experience with web application testing, test automation development, and CI processes (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools like X-Ray.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong expertise in automation tools, specifically Cypress.
• Experience in creating/managing TestNG frameworks – Data-driven, Hybrid, and BDD.
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands and familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
