SALES INTERN

We are looking for a motivated Sales Intern to join our team for Summer 2025! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment while working alongside experienced professionals. 

SuccessKPI’s Intern Program is a ten-week program that offers an unparalleled experience for rising university seniors. Approximately ten students are hired annually across the U.S., to convert each intern into a full-time hire for the following year. We are looking for driven self-starters who have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to learn.  Applicants must have permanent, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. We regret that we are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visas for this position.

Job Location: Remote Work, USA
Candidate must reside and work from one of the following states to be considered for this role: CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, ID, IN, MA, MD, MO, MI, NE, NC, NJ, PA, TN, TX, VA. We are unable to make any exceptions to this rule   

Duration: Summer 2025 (June - August) 

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

What You’ll Do:   

Interns can expect a fast-paced, demanding work environment that offers the chance to learn and grow professionally. Day-to-day activities of summer Interns vary, but include challenging real-world assignments, getting to work across multiple areas of the company, and long-term projects.  Day-to-day activities of interns vary depending on skills and department but include challenging real-world assignments in programming, product building, sales, social marketing, and customer support.     

Responsibilities 

As a Sales Intern, you will: 

  • Learn and Support the Sales Process: 
  • Gain a thorough understanding of SuccessKPI’s products, services, and value proposition by attending intensive training to learn about the SuccesKPI solutions  
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of sales presentations and proposals including developing and delivering value-based product demonstrations for customers, partners, and prospects. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential leads using CRM tools and market research. 
  • Engage with Prospects: 
  • Participate in outreach campaigns, including emails, calls, and LinkedIn messaging, to generate new business opportunities. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services. 
  • Assist with Account Management: 
  • Support account executives with managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication with customers. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and updates. 
  • Conduct Market Research: 
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to identify potential growth areas. 
  • Team Collaboration and Strategy: 
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with business goals. 
  • Attend team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas. 
     

 

What You’ll Bring: 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (graduating in 2026). 
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, or customer success. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Successful candidates will exhibit a desire to learn and a common-sense approach to problem-solving. SuccessKPI values individuals who are demonstrated team players and can interact with all levels of the organization while showing initiative, integrity, and creativity.

To qualify as a candidate for SuccessKPI’s Summer Intern Program you must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025. Opportunity is open for all majors especially relevant to applicants interested in sales, marketing, computer programming, business analytics, and finance.
