Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What we do: 

The Lead, Materials Strategy and Analytics role is responsible for developing and executing material strategies that support business objectives such as inventory optimization, supply assurance, and risk mitigation specifically in support of eVTOL pre-production and production ramp-up. The position leads supplier development efforts, builds strong relationships with key and sub-tier suppliers, and drives strategic sourcing decisions through close collaboration with Procurement, Engineering, M&P, and Quality. A key focus is enhancing supply chain visibility and operational performance by developing workshop applications in Palantir Foundry or ERP systems and MES systems. This position will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Supernal by building a resilient, data-driven, and scalable supply base to support long-term growth.   

What you can do:

  • Develop and implement material strategies that support business goals including inventory optimization, risk mitigation, and supply assurance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and foster collaboration to improve lead times, capacity, and responsiveness
  • Lead efforts to identify, onboard, and integrate new sub-tier suppliers to support expanding production needs and reduce single points of failure
  • Provide oversight and integration of sub-tier suppliers as well as monitoring their performance
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, M&P, and Quality to evaluate supplier capabilities, increase collaboration, and drive strategic sourcing decisions
  • Develop workshop apps that support supply chain visibility and management in Palantir Foundry
  • Partner with Program Management and Production teams to ensure material readiness aligns with build schedules and engineering milestones
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices in supplier management, material flow, and system integration
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred
  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing, or supplier management roles
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing supplier relationships
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience preferred

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:

$145,000 - $195,000 USD
