Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.

 

What we do: 

The Sr. Buyer is responsible for overseeing procurement processes (both within the U.S. and globally), including adherence to standards and operational plans, as well as managing RFPs, negotiations, preparations, and cost analysisThe role partners with clients throughout the business by responding to inquiries concerning order status, modifications, or cancellationsThe position is key to enabling the development of Supernal’s vehicles, industrial base, and broader market ecosystems. This role requires the candidate to be present in the office 5 days a week. 

What you can do:

  • Follow purchasing processes and systems for products and services required by Engineering and other departments 
  • Follow processes to conduct requests for quote, select suppliers, evaluate responses, negotiate/finalize contracts, and ensure continuous execution 
  • Maintain good relationships with transactional suppliers 
  • Reviewing and execution of contracts and agreements 
  • Meets customer timing expectations for quotes and follows orders to successful delivery 
  • Maintains a high customer satisfaction rating that meets or exceeds company standards 
  • Be supportive and provide timely responses to the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders 
  • Completes all assignments and administrative tasks in an effective and efficient manner 
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame 
  • Maintains and updates status tools as required 
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations, and the documentation of contracts and agreements 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, aeronautical engineering, or related field required 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain and/or procurement
  • Experience with billing and invoicing 
  • Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management 
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred 
  • Experience in advanced technology, aviation, automotive, or the mobility space with UAS or UAM preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:

$100,000 - $125,000 USD
