Head of Growth Product, B2B2C

Remote - Portugal

At Sword, we’re building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity’s full potential. In doing so, we’re pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment, not generic technology applied after the fact. As both a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, Sword is reimagining how care is delivered at scale, removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access the care they need—and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.

Since 2020, Sword has expanded across physical therapy, women’s health, cardiometabolic, and mental health, and is now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that brings physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. More than 700,000 members across three continents have completed over 10 million AI sessions, helping 1,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 42 clinical studies, 44+ patents, and more than $500 million raised from leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.

AI Proficiency at Sword

AI fluency is a core expectation at Sword. Every candidate is assessed against our three-level framework — be ready to share real examples of how AI is already part of how you work.

  • Explorer (Level 1) — Uses AI daily to boost personal productivity

  • Builder (Level 2) — Creates workflows and tools that elevate the whole team

  • Integrator (Level 3) — Embeds AI into products and processes at scale

Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.

Role

We are seeking a 10xer to lead our growth product efforts for maximizing our member acquisition and enrollment funnels. The ideal candidate is a high-velocity and analytical systems thinker who has deep expertise with building high performing conversion funnels. This is a role for a strategic thinker and a doer: someone who can see the big picture but isn't afraid to get their hands dirty building and executing.

This is a hands-on role. You'll manage two PMs and still write specs, analyze data, and ship experiments yourself. If you only want to be a people manager and want to operate through others, this isn't it.

This isn't a "maintenance" role; you will be the primary person accountable for step level improving all of our efforts on member growth through the funnel. You will own the entire funnel from landing pages through enrollment finished for our members. You are accountable for maximizing member acquisition and enrollment conversion.

Team

The Growth team is responsible for maximizing member growth across all solutions within Sword.

What you'll be doing:

  • The full member funnel. Landing pages, eligibility checks, registration, enrollment. You own the systems and the conversion metric through member enrollment.
  • The experimentation system, roadmap and decisions to drive results. You decide what we test, in what order, and what we do with the result.
  • Build systems that increase operational leverage. Client-specific requests, maintenance, new launches and new initiatives consume team capacity. You'll find what's repeatable, productize it into configuration instead of custom work, and use AI to automate the rest.

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years in product management building consumer-facing products or B2B2C platforms, including 4+ years managing PMs and Senior PMs.
  • Strong consumer product mindset with proven CRO track record. Deep understanding of consumer behavior, friction, and motivation, with experience building intuitive journeys
  • Deep expertise from acquisition through activation — landing page experimentation through to activated members, not just top-of-funnel. Come ready to walk through funnels you owned, the tests you ran, and the conversion rates before and after.
  • Ownership at scale. You've driven significant decisions and can engage deeply on data, experimentation, and technical tradeoffs. You work well with engineers because you understand what you're asking for.
  • Customer and data obsessed. Combines funnel data, user insights, and experimentation to understand behavior and improve the member experience and business results.
  • Highly analytical. You can conduct your own analysis, size opportunities before building, and can tell a real result from noise.
  • AI-Forward: You use AI tools to increase your personal and team output. You understand the difference between "adding a chatbot" and building an AI-driven growth ecosystem.
  • Bias for action: Thrives in ambiguity, makes decisions fast, and validates assumptions early. Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Systems thinker. You look at a problem and see the mechanism producing it, not just the symptom.
  • Strong opinions, held with evidence — and willing to be wrong in public.
  • Outcome orientation: Relentless focus on metrics and results.
  • Exceptional written communication. Our teams are globally distributed and async-first; if your thinking only lands in a live meeting, it won't scale here. Strong project management and a bias for urgency.
  • Cross-functional leadership. Proven ability to align Business units, Engineering, Client-facing teams, Design, Data, and Growth around shared funnel outcomes.
  • User-first mindset: Ability to translate complexity into simple, intuitive, and cohesive user experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in digital health or consumer health products.
  • B2B2C, benefits, insurance, or fintech — anywhere the buyer and the user are different people.
  • Experience with eligibility, identity matching, or enrollment systems.
  • A/B testing and experimentation at scale, including the infrastructure behind it.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applied to personalization, recommendations, or behavior change.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
