
ERP Technical Engineer

Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain our NetSuite OneWorld environment to suit the specific needs of our business.
- Write and maintain SuiteScript 2.x across all script types (Suitelet, RESTlet, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client) to optimize ERP processes for speed, accuracy, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within NetSuite and its integrations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth business operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for scripts, configurations, customizations, and system processes.
- Deploy customizations and projects via SDF and GitHub repositories, following our sandbox-to-production release process.
- Understand and work within core NetSuite order processes, including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
- Participate in team release cycles, including pre-release review, deployment, and post-release verification.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience in NetSuite/ERP development, system engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Proven experience as a NetSuite Developer, ERP Developer, or similar technical role, with a strong focus on NetSuite.
- Solid hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x, comfortable writing all script types.
- Solid understanding of core NetSuite order processes: Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
- Experience building saved searches, workflows, and custom records for cross-functional reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets/projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or OCI, preferred.
- Experience with GitHub, Postman, Slack, Jira/Confluence, preferred.
- Experience with custom or third-party tax engines, preferred.
- Experience with SuiteCommerce, preferred.
