The Challenge

The DevOps Engineering team plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. We work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline our CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud environments, ensure high availability of our systems, and tools using the latest standards and technologies. 

We are actively looking for a DevOps Engineer with a broad range of automation related and general purpose programming skills. Our ideal candidate has a rich and diverse technical background, is creative and passionate about creating modular reusable workflows, as well as standardization, optimization, automation, and scripting. Furthermore, this candidate will have experience architecting, engineering, implementing, and supporting large scale enterprise infrastructure and tools in public and private cloud, and on-prem solutions to accommodate end-users, developers, and internal/external customers.

Candidates are expected to stay aware of industry changes and plan to keep ahead of industry advancements to help guide the use and implementation of technology at Take-Two.

What You’ll Take On

  • Implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).

  • Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and optimize reliability and scalability.

  • Observe security best practices for infrastructure and applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, and application performance issues.

  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

  • Work with engineering teams and leads to improve DevOps culture and practices.

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for team related assets and domains

  • Work with vendors and other IT personnel to identify and resolve issues with systems and infrastructure

  • Create and update technical documentation and procedures

  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.

 

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native technologies.

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or C#

  • Experience using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

  • Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.

  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting practices (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).

  • Diagnose and resolve application performance challenges

  • Good communication abilities.

Great to Have: 

  • Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.

  • Experience with database usage.

  • Background in Agile methodologies (Jira, SmartSheets).

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,500 and $111,740 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
