Job Title: Key Account Manager (Bridging Finance)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: up to £65,000 and up to 20% annual bonus, car allowance of £600 per month and benefits
Location: UK wide, we can support fully remote or hybrid working from our offices in London, Cardiff, Durham and Blackpool

The KAM will be responsible for recruiting and managing relationships with introducers and intermediaries to generate new business opportunities and create, manage and execute account management plans. They will also monitor development progress and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders.

As a Bridging Key Account Manager at Tandem, you will:
- Develop and maintain relationships with introducers and intermediaries to achieve new business targets.
- Proactively contact new intermediaries/introducers to engage them with the company's bridging products.
- Possess SME knowledge of bridging (and buy-to-let (BTL) products preferable), criteria, processes, and unique selling points (USPs).
- Conduct thorough fact-finding with intermediaries to assess opportunities and identify appropriate firms.
- Follow up on issued terms and agreed deals to progress them into applications, handling objections to win deals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and providing excellent customer service to support business growth.
- Achieve personal objectives.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have effective communication styles and methods used to interact with Bridging Intermediaries and third parties.
- Can work independently, setting your own priorities and taking a lead role.
- Are prepared to take accountability for your own performance.
- Can communicate verbal and written information to customers in a way which is clear, fair, and not misleading.
- Can work under pressure in a target driven environment, with the capacity to prioritise tasks.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Can research, digest, analyse, and present material clearly and concisely to senior management and director level.
- Have excellent people skills.
- Can work proactively and think strategically in a fast-moving environment.
- Can have flexibility and adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and to work extra hours where required to meet deadlines and deal with intermediary/client queries.
- Can create and implement a new business plan.
It would be great, but not essential if you have:
- Previous experience of bridging/BTL, or associated businesses within the specialist mortgage market.
- Have a good understanding of the digital marketplace that exists within the bridging / specialist lending sector.
- An understanding of the regulatory environment that exists within the bridging / specialist lending sector.
- A proven history of positive sales performance.
