You will own the evolution of our linguistic assets and critical resources, including glossaries, style guides, and multilingual documentation. As an internal consultant, you will support stakeholders with expert guidance on cultural nuances and globalisation best practices across all territories.
As part of our small but mighty international team, you will enjoy the autonomy to truly shape your role while exploring and implementing innovative tech solutions. Taskrabbit is a data-driven and values-driven company; your work will have a direct impact on the progress of our business and the lives of the communities we serve across all our markets.
What you will work on:

- Orchestrate work with our dedicated translation agencies and build deep, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reference materials for linguists, to keep a consistent voice in your locale and ensure best practices.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks to ensure our comms, resources and UX are of the highest standard and they adhere to our linguistic assets.
- Adapt and/or review content directly on our TMS (Smartling).
- Test and assess AI-driven workflows to scale our operations and improve efficiency, while maintaining localisation quality.
- Carry out comprehensive localisation audits, testing the full user journey to remove friction and enhance the customer experience and our performance metrics.
- Project manage cross-functional international initiatives, working with remote teams in different areas and time zones.
What we are looking for:
- A British English localisation expert.
- A passion for language, communication, and storytelling.
- A minimum of 5 years’ localisation experience with a strong background in translation, linguistics, transcreation, content creation, QA, and cultural adaptation.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills. You are capable of carrying out all duties in a fast-paced environment as part of a hybrid international team.
- Solid understanding of CAT tools, including familiarity with MT and AI-driven workflows and tools.
- A demonstrated ability to move from reactive to proactive, identifying and solving complex workflow and content challenges.
- Experienced project manager, capable of working cross-functionally and delivering on time.
- A team player—You’ll be joining a small, cohesive team.
- Experienced working on requests from various functions: Marketing, Product and Engineering, Customer Support, Partnerships, etc.
- A forensic eye for detail and a strong curiosity about how things work.
- You are clear, kind and considerate, and you take pride in a job well done.
