Join us at Taskrabbit, where your work will be meaningful, your ideas valued, and your potential unleashed!

This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration in our downtown San Francisco Hub per week.

About The Role

The Onboarding Specialist is an internal-facing operations role on the External Partnerships team, sitting with the Senior Onboarding Supervisor. This person is the day-to-day engine of the team — keeping launches on track, cross-functional work moving, and the Onboarding Associate prioritized and unblocked.

This role does not manage external partner relationships. It exists to absorb the operational coordination that scales with every new partner launch, freeing senior team members to focus on strategic growth and program management.

What You’ll Do

Partner Launch Coordination

  • Support day-to-day partner onboarding logistics including location setup, rate card validation, zip code uploads, store configuration, and training coordination for new and expanding partners
  • Schedule and coordinate live (Google Meet) and shareable training sessions for new partner locations
  • Maintain and update partner pages in internal systems as partners expand or change configurations
  • Assist with post-launch activity monitoring and flag issues for escalation

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Track open action items across CS, Product, Data, Localization, and Task Logistics teams
  • Coordinate across internal teams to ensure launch steps are completed on time
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups and represent the Partnerships team in operational discussions

Channel & Support Management

  • Manage 10+ active Slack channels including partner-internal channels, and cross-functional channels.
  • Triage inbound partner support requests and route issues appropriately to CS, Partner Support, or internal teams
  • Assist with hypercare monitoring for new partner launches across all platforms (TPP, API, PAPI), tracking early performance trends and flagging issues through the critical window following go-live

Documentation & Infrastructure

  • Maintain the Confluence database as the source of truth for all partner data
  • Create and update onboarding documentation, checklists, and training materials
  • Ensure partner pages, rate cards, and location records are current and accurate

Team Support

  • Support the Onboarding Associate in staying organized and on track with launch timelines and day-to-day tasks
  • Identify process gaps and flag them to the Senior Onboarding Supervisor
  • Support preparation for major cross-functional launch readiness reviews

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, account management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple work streams and deadlines simultaneously
  • Clear, confident communicator in Slack, email, and async environments
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across teams with different priorities and workflows
  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward documentation and process
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on tasks end-to-end, and flag issues proactively

Preferred

  • Experience with Confluence, Slack, Asana, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with marketplace, gig economy, or platform operations
  • Experience supporting a team in a coordinator or specialist capacity
  • Exposure to partner onboarding, account setup, or B2B operations
  • Comfortable facilitating or delivering training (live or asynchronous)
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude) for documentation, communication, and operational efficiency

Technology & Tools

  • Slack — primary communication and channel management
  • Confluence — partner documentation and knowledge base
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) — training materials and shared documentation
  • Asana or similar project management tool — task tracking and launch timelines
  • Zoom / Google Meet — live partner and internal training sessions
  • Jira — bug tracking, product intake, and internal issue escalation
  • AI tools (e.g., Claude) — documentation drafting, communication prep, and operational efficiency

What Success Looks Like

30 Days: Fully onboarded with access to all tools, channels, and documentation. Independently navigating Slack, Confluence, Asana, and Jira. First launch supported with minimal oversight.

60 Days: Managing day-to-day channel triage and cross-functional follow-ups independently. Onboarding Associate's workload actively supported and on track.

90 Days: Supporting partner launches end-to-end including hypercare monitoring. Process gaps identified and flagged. Senior Onboarding Supervisor has measurably more capacity for program management.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
