Overview
Total Deployment Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Recruiter to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our rapid growth by managing high-volume hiring for technician roles. Many of these positions will be part-time or short-term contract roles, requiring a recruiter who can effectively manage a fast-paced and flexible hiring environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting talent with opportunity and comfortable traveling to various campuses and job fairs to build strong talent pipelines.
- This is a full-time position with a targeted base salary range of $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technician roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and local teams to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to develop a network of talent in local regions to facilitate high volume temporary hiring for local projects.
- Attend and represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach programs to attract top talent.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback from interviewers, facilitate the selection process and complete the offer process for all candidates
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system, and provide a positive candidate experience
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires as needed
Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to attend job fairs and visit campuses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
- 4+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment is required
- Proven ability to manage recruitment for part-time and contract-based roles.
- Prior experience hiring IT project teams or hands-on IT professionals such as data center, hardware, server or IT technicians or structured cabling installers would be preferred
- Experience sourcing candidates through various channels and leveraging tools and strategies to develop location based talent pools of vetted candidates for project and temporary staffing-
- Experience using software or AI to manage and enable mass candidate outreach, sourcing, screening and vetting to facilitate efficient, rapid, mass hiring initiatives
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, Greenhouse preferred
- Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
