Job Summary:

 Responsibilities  

• Manage and develop a team of 5-8 product designers 
• Set team goals, OKRs, and success metrics aligned with business objectives 
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career planning 
• Establish and optimise design processes and workflows 
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other design leaders 
• Manage team capacity and project allocation 
• Build team culture and foster psychological safety 
• Advocate for design resources and tooling needs 
• Drive design quality through critique and review processes 
• Handle performance management and difficult conversations 
• Contribute to organisational design strategy and operations 

 Qualifications: 

• 6+ years of product design experience 
• 2+ years of people management experience 
• Proven track record of building and scaling design teams 
• Strong operational and process-oriented mindset 
• Excellence in stakeholder management and communication 
• Ability to context-switch between strategic and tactical work 
• Experience managing through organisational change
