We come together several times a year for team and company-wide offsites to align on goals and strengthen relationships. Attendance at these events is expected and fully supported.

Tekmetric is seeking a Vice President of Sales, Expansion to lead and scale the revenue engine responsible for growth within our existing customer base.

This leader will own revenue growth within the installed base by driving Shop Management System tier upgrades, add-on adoption, Tekmetric Marketing expansion, and adoption of future products, while partnering closely with the Payments team to identify and advance payments opportunities as a strategic lever in customers’ Next Results journey.

The VP of Expansion Sales will partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and  Revenue Operations to identify customer readiness signals, drive product discovery, and convert customer outcomes into measurable revenue growth.

This role requires a leader who can operate at both a strategic and operational level—building repeatable expansion motions, coaching teams to lead insight-driven customer conversations, and partnering cross-functionally to create a seamless “next results” journey for Tekmetric customers.

The ideal candidate thrives in a high-velocity SaaS environment with moderate ASP ($2.5k–$5k ACV expansion opportunities) and understands how to scale expansion revenue across a large installed base.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Expansion Revenue Engine.  Build the strategy and operating rhythm that turns customer results into measurable revenue growth.  Lead Tekmetric’s expansion business across the installed customer base, including:
    • Tekmetric Marketing adoption
    • Core product tier upgrades
    • Add-on products 
    • Future cross sell products
    • Expansion opportunities tied to customer growth
  • Build a Repeatable Expansion Motion.  Create a predictable and measurable expansion pipeline.
    • Expansion playbooks and qualification frameworks
    • Structured account prioritization based on signals and readiness
    • Sales motions optimized for high-velocity expansion deals
    • Clear conversion funnels from product discovery to closed revenue

Enable Product-Led Growth and In-Product Discovery.  Partner with Product and Marketing to drive product discovery and adoption.

    • In-product upgrade and add-on discovery
    • Product-led expansion opportunities
    • Conversion paths from product engagement to sales conversations
    • Experimentation with in-app trials and self-serve expansion

Lead Cross-Functional Expansion Strategy.  Collaborate on initiatives that increase product attach rate, customer lifetime value, and adoption of new products.  Serve as the GTM leader responsible for aligning expansion revenue across:

    • Customer Success
    • Product
    • Marketing
    • Revenue Operations

Build and Lead the Expansion Team.  Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing expansion sales team.  Key leadership responsibilities include:

    • Hiring and developing expansion AEs
    • Building coaching frameworks for insight-led expansion conversations
    • Establishing forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility
    • Driving accountability for expansion performance

Payments Revenue Partnership.  Maintain leadership partnership with Payments Sales to ensure alignment between payments adoption and broader expansion strategy.  Payments is a critical lever in delivering the next stage of customer results and overall revenue growth. 

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of SaaS revenue leadership experience
  • 5+ years leading expansion, growth, or account management teams
  • Proven success scaling expansion revenue across large SMB customer bases
  • Experience building repeatable, high-velocity expansion sales motions
  • Strong understanding of product-led growth and usage-based expansion
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using signals, attribution, and performance insights to drive decisions
  • Builder mentality with the ability to create and scale systems, not just manage them
