The role

As a Growth Data Analyst, you’ll be at the center of data-driven decision-making for the Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Telnyx's entire GTM motion to uncover insights, build intuitive dashboards, and optimize processes that drive revenue growth. Your expertise in SQL, Tableau and modern data tools will help shape how we analyze and interpret business performance, ensuring that decision-makers have access to accurate, actionable data. In this role you will..

Perform Data Analysis & Insight Generation

    • Drive data analyses to address complex business challenges by working closely with stakeholders to define key questions and develop strategic recommendations.
    • Establish a consistent process for understanding business problems, from stakeholder interviews to hypothesis development and data exploration.
    • Present findings via dashboards, slide decks, or reports, highlighting gaps, trends, and actionable insights.

Dashboard & Visualization Development

    • Build and maintain engaging, intuitive dashboards and visualizations that tell a clear story about performance metrics.
    • Ensure dashboards include clear labelling, annotations, and benchmarks that aid in decision-making for new hires and seasoned team members alike.

End-to-End Data Process OwnershipOversee critical deliverables such as sales retrospectives and quarterly business reviews, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with stakeholder expectations.

    • Act as the go-to resource during presentations, adjusting data visualizations on the fly and clarifying insights for diverse audiences.

Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Customer Success teams to define business problems and tailor data solutions accordingly.

    • Provide actionable feedback to operational teams regarding data accuracy issues and process inefficiencies.

Predictive Modeling & Statistical Analysis

    • Develop and refine predictive models to forecast revenue and other key performance outcomes.
    • Apply advanced statistical techniques to evaluate causal relationships and optimize business processes.

Data Tool Utilization & Automation

    • Leverage modern data tools (e.g., Tableau, DBeaver, PostgreSQL) to build ETL pipelines, automate workflows, and generate insights.

Proactively implement automation and real-time alerts (e.g., prototype applications for monitoring key metrics) to enhance data governance and operational efficiency.Data Governance & Quality Assurance

    • Take full ownership of data governance initiatives, setting standards for data use and training team members to ensure accuracy.
    • Monitor data quality through dedicated dashboards, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with data owners to resolve inconsistencies promptly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: 
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Tableau Creator, particularly in a Sales or Marketing Operations function
    • A Bachelor’s degree in analytics or similar, Masters is a plus
    • Certifications in data analytics, modelling, or similar is a plus
  • SQL expertise – ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance. You understand how to read, write, & debug complex SQL queries in order to maintain data accuracy.
  • Data Governance & Quality – familiarity with data governance principles. You’ve implemented or adhered to practices ensuring data accuracy (e.g., testing data, validation checks), consistency in metric definitions, and documentation (data dictionaries). You take data quality seriously and have strategies to maintain it.
  • Autonomy & Drive: Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. You manage your time effectively, can set realistic milestones, and deliver without heavy oversight. This role is remote and autonomous – you should be self-motivated and comfortable defining what needs to be done.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong communicator who can work with non-technical stakeholders. You should be able to understand the needs of the RevOps team (and related departments) and translate those into data solutions. Likewise, you can explain data concepts or pipeline status to a business audience. You’re not siloed; you engage with the team’s goals and proactively offer data insights or improvements.

  • Proven ability to understand business stakeholders' perspectives and translate their needs into measurable goals and actionable insights.
  • Strong experience in Tableau, with a track record of building impactful dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Partnership organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that drive decision-making.
  • Experience owning a data roadmap, setting priorities, and being accountable for KPIs related to data accuracy, dashboard adoption, and business impact.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment between data solutions and business objectives.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership over data quality, governance, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data flow optimization, with hands-on experience using modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt) to automate workflows and improve data accessibility.
