We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

The Role

Join Telnyx’s AEO team as a Global AEO/SEO Lead responsible for expanding organic and AI-search visibility while ensuring 24/7 operational coverage across global time zones. You’ll partner directly with the Director of AEO to design, launch, and scale programmatic websites, AI-assisted content systems, and automated growth experiments using modern developer-first AI tools.

This role blends technical SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and AI-driven website development, requiring someone who can independently ship production sites, drive measurable organic traffic, and iterate rapidly using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and modern agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI-Assisted Website Development: Build, launch, and iterate on websites using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and other LLM-powered engineering environments.
  • Organic Growth Experiments: Launch and scale programmatic SEO and AEO initiatives designed to generate organic traffic and AI search citations across Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and similar systems.
  • Technical SEO & AEO Monitoring and Execution: Implement structured data, internal linking, crawl optimization, and AI-indexability best practices to maximize visibility in both traditional search and AI answer engines.
  • Rapid Site Prototyping: Independently spin up and deploy new web properties or growth experiments (from domain purchase to launch) using modern dev frameworks and AI coding tools.
  • Traffic Validation & Measurement: Monitor performance using tools like Ahrefs, GSC, analytics platforms, and internal dashboards to verify traffic growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Automation & Workflow Design: Build and maintain growth automations (custom pipelines, no n8n, AirOps, etc)
  • Prompt Engineering & AI Tooling: Develop and refine prompts that improve code generation, content generation, and automated workflows across the growth stack.

What we’re looking for

  • Self-starter who can independently launch production websites with minimal direction.
  • Experience with GitHub and version control best practices.
  • Proven builder with a track record of launching websites that generate real organic traffic, verifiable through tools like Ahrefs or similar platforms.
  • Highly technical marketer comfortable using Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI-assisted development tools to build websites and growth experiments.
  • Experiment-driven thinker who rapidly tests new SEO/AEO strategies and iterates based on results.
  • Strong understanding of modern search ecosystems, including AI search platforms and LLM-driven discovery.
  • An operator mentality, someone who ships projects quickly rather than endlessly planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and growing multiple websites that achieved measurable organic traffic.
  • Strong technical SEO background (crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture).
  • Experience with programmatic SEO, content automation, or growth engineering.
  • Previous familiarity with automation tools such as n8n, AirOps, Zapier, or similar workflow systems (we no longer use these, intentionally)
  • Ability to write or debug code in JavaScript, Python, or modern web frameworks.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
