We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

The Role

As a Solutions Engineer for LATAM, you will partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, Product, and Engineering to help customers understand, evaluate, and implement Telnyx solutions across Latin America.

You will act as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle: leading technical discovery, delivering product demos, designing solution architectures, answering customer questions, supporting proof-of-concept work, and helping remove technical blockers that could slow or prevent a deal from closing.

This role is ideal for someone who understands telecom, cloud infrastructure, networking, SIP/VoIP, contact center technology, APIs, or AI-powered communications, and who enjoys translating technical capabilities into clear business value for customers across LATAM.

You should be comfortable engaging with a wide range of audiences, from developers and technical champions to product leaders, CTOs, CIOs, and business executives. Fluency in English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese is important for supporting customers across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the LATAM sales team to own the technical side of customer opportunities from discovery through close
  • Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements, current architecture, pain points, and business goals
  • Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure using Telnyx products
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept support
  • Explain Telnyx products across Voice, SIP Trunking, Messaging, Wireless/IoT, Networking, Storage, AI, and Voice AI
  • Help customers evaluate Telnyx APIs, network capabilities, and communications infrastructure
  • Identify technical objections and work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to resolve blockers
  • Support customer and partner integrations in real-world environments
  • Build lightweight prototypes or demos that show how Telnyx products can solve customer problems
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Telnyx's existing and future products
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing technical feedback with Product and Engineering teams
  • Support customer meetings, partner conversations, trade shows, and regional events as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting, Support Engineering, or Technical Architecture
  • Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, telecom infrastructure, networking, contact center technology, cloud platforms, APIs, or related technologies
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Strong presentation and demo skills
  • Experience working with sales teams during technical discovery, evaluation, POC, and closing stages
  • Hands-on technical curiosity and comfort learning new products quickly
  • Business acumen and ability to connect technical value to customer outcomes
  • Fluency in English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Mexico City, Mexico, with ability to support LATAM customers and travel as needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP trunking, programmable voice, messaging, wireless, IoT, or next-generation carrier technologies
  • Experience with AI integrations, Voice AI, conversational AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or AI-powered customer experience tools
  • Experience building full-stack applications or working with modern programming languages and APIs
  • Experience selling or supporting cloud solutions for sales, support, marketing, or customer engagement teams
  • Previous experience in telecom, software engineering, networking, storage, contact center, or technical support environments
  • Fluency across English, Spanish, and Portuguese is a strong plus

Why Telnyx

Telnyx sits at the intersection of telecom infrastructure, APIs, wireless connectivity, and AI. As a Solutions Engineer, you will help customers across LATAM build better communications experiences while working with a technical product portfolio that spans real-time voice, messaging, wireless, networking, and AI-powered automation.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to work closely with customers, influence technical sales strategy, and help grow Telnyx's presence across Latin America.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
