About the Role
Come help us build the foundation for exponential growth at Temporal! In this role, you will join our People team to help create an engaging and inclusive experience for Temporalities around the globe. We are looking for someone to help us scale the people systems, processes, and programs that support our teams. This role is integral to ensuring our people processes run efficiently, employee resources are effective, and our culture remains vibrant and inclusive. This is an opportunity to be at the center of building a thoughtful and scalable foundation for how we work and grow together.
Responsibilities
- Continuously refine key moments in the employee experience, including onboarding, leave tracking, offboarding, and more.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of our onboarding experience, from pre-start logistics to first week programming, ensuring every new hire feels welcomed, equipped to be successful and connected from day one.
- Create and maintain simple and engaging content to ensure employees know when and where to access information.
- Handle employee inquiries with timely and thoughtful responses.
- Support employee changes (new hires, internal transfers, role changes, etc) and update employee records across People systems.
- Administer and track employee leave requests and approvals and maintain accurate records in leave management systems.
- Develop creative solutions that strengthen culture and create connection opportunities for employees in a distributed, global environment.
- Support the execution of employee engagement programs, including managing merch for new hires, employee milestones, recognition opportunities and company initiatives.
- Assist with compliance related tasks including training administration and reporting, documentation, audits, and ad hoc projects to ensure consistent recordkeeping and regulatory alignment.
- Assist with regular payroll audits, manage tax notices, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator roles and well-versed in HR operations, compliance, and systems.
- Experience working in a high-volume, shared service environment.
- Passionate about people and process with a focus on the details and how they impact the employee experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with global partners, provide regular updates, and drive timely resolutions.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity, especially in a remote culture spread across different countries.
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $70,000-$100,000
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal’s equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
