Your Role:
As a Channel Account Manager in Austria and Switzerland, it's essential to
understand the company's "100% Channel" strategy and how it applies to those
countries' specific market dynamics. The role will be responsible for managing and growing business through Tenable’s focus partners in Austria and Switzerland, working closely alongside direct-touch sales teams and dedicated marketing and sales engineering resources. This role in Switzerland and Austria is to manage and expand this network, ensuring partners are enabled, motivated, and aligned with Tenable's growth objectives.
Your Opportunity:
- Partner Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong, long- term relationships with existing and new channel partners
- Channel Sales Enablement - Driving partner success by providing training, product updates, tools, and resources to help partners sell and support Tenable products
- Revenue Growth - Developing joint business plans with partners to increase pipeline and achieve quarterly sales targets
- Recruitment and Onboarding - Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners aligned with company goals and market strategy
- Market Development - Working closely with marketing teams to run campaigns, events, and lead-generation activities
- Forecasting & Reporting - Providing accurate forecasts, pipeline management, and reporting through CRM tools (e.g., SFDC, Clari, Tableau)
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Liaising with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams to align on partner strategies and execution
- Compliance & Governance - Ensuring channel partners operate within Tenable’s guidelines, pricing structures, and deal registration processes
What You'll Need:
- 6+ years of experience in Channel Sales in cyber security
- Experience working with resellers, integrators, MSSPs and distributors
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through channel partners
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies, market dynamics, and partner ecosystems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with partner programs, MDF, deal registration, and channel incentive programs
- Proficiency in CRM systems and partner portals
