
HR Operations Coordinator - Contractor

At Tenstorrent, we’re building the next generation of compute—and that includes building a high-performing People team to support our growth. We’re looking for an HR Operations Coordinator to support our operations. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone early in their HR career who’s eager to learn, grow, and get exposure to the full employee lifecycle at a fast-paced company.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions—triaging, resolving, or escalating as needed.
- Own and process employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, offboarding, job changes, etc.) with accuracy and speed.
- Manage HRIS data changes and support change management efforts as our systems and processes evolve.
- Coordinate physical mail and document operations as part of global HR workflows.
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Facilities to keep the engine running.
- Support audits, reporting, and special projects as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- You have 1–3 years of HR or People Operations experience.
- You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and organized—even when things move quickly.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and love to build as you go.
- You care about the employee experience and want to be part of a team that’s always improving it.
- You’re tech-savvy and ready to learn HR systems (experience with Rippling is a bonus).
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
