Software Testing Infrastructure Intern - Low Level Kernels

As a Software Testing Infrastructure Intern on our Low Level Kernels team, you will help build and enhance the performance testing infrastructure that ensures our AI processors deliver optimal performance. You will work on infrastructure that continuously monitors, analyzes, and visualizes performance metrics, enabling our team to catch regressions early and ship high-quality software with confidence. We are looking for a minimum of 3 months for this role with the potential for extension to 6 months.

This role is onsite, based in our Belgrade, Serbia office.
 
 
Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with a focus on developing automation scripts and streamlining workflows.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, Bash scripting, and a working knowledge of C++.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL/PostgreSQL) and basic computer hardware architecture.
  • Curiosity about automation, CI/CD workflows, and data visualization, hands on experience is plus.


 What We Need
  • Implement a robust system for storing and managing performance test results generated by our LLK library.
  • Build end-to-end automation systems to support regression testing driven by specific performance metrics.
  • Develop and enhance data dashboards to visualize performance trends and provide clear test result summaries.
  • Create sophisticated alerting systems to notify engineering teams of performance regressions and data anomalies.
  • Improve existing performance testing frameworks to support continuous monitoring and cross-functional engineering insights.


What You Will Learn
  • How to design systems for storing and analyzing high-volume performance metrics from AI hardware testing.
  • How to build automated pipelines that detect regressions early and maintain rigorous quality standards.
  • How to transform raw performance data into actionable insights through modern monitoring and visualization tools.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard infrastructure including GitHub Actions, cloud storage, and relational databases.

 

Hiring Timelines

This internship opportunity is available throughout our 3 terms with the following corresponding recruitment cycles:

  • Winter Term: Mar–May work term, Nov–Jan recruit.
  • Summer Term: Aug–Oct work term, Jan–May recruit.
  • Fall Term: Oct–Dec work term, Apr–May recruit.
