POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will produce a variety of infused products according to production needs. They will ensure a high-level of quality is met for all products leaving the department. Attention to detail will be key in producing and tracking infused products. A successful Post Processing Specialist will be able to elevate company standards, achieve goals, provide excellent product suggestions and guidance, and exceed the manager's expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow production schedule put forth by Operations Manager.
- Produce a variety of infused products and track production numbers.
- Learn to use and troubleshoot all infusion/post-processing equipment.
- Ensure all items are produced to the highest standards possible.
- Input all necessary data into METRC and internal inventory system.
- Notify Assistant Manager when production inventory is below PAR levels.
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
- Have a comprehensive knowledgeable of all products, of the cannabis industry, and of any relevant cannabis-related subject matter.
- Participate in staff events, outings, and promotional events.
- Ensure you are early or on-time for all shifts and any mandatory events or meetings.
- Assist with running side work and cleaning breakroom, restrooms, disposing of trash and sanitizing work/common spaces during all downtime.
- Perform other duties or projects, as assigned by managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A strong understanding of necessary math concepts.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Detailed oriented.
- Lab Experience
- Desire to continuously learn (more) about cannabis, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system, and cannabis therapies previous knowledge a HUGE plus!
- Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Possess valid driver's license or state ID.
- Remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching down.
