With a growing client base, Testlio is seeking a Testing Coordinator to be part of our Testing Team and play an integral role in our client’s journey with Testlio. A Testing Coordinator partners with the Delivery team to help each client complete testing activities, including assisting in test scope planning, test run management, and results reporting. You will work closely with the Freelance Tester community, Testing Managers, Clients, and other members of the Testlio team.

What would your day look like?
- Ensuring the quality of a Test Run by following recommended practices established within Testlio
- Meticulous review client test requests, align coverage strategy with the Testing Manager, and ensure correct Test Run setups while anticipating testers potential blockers
- Create Test cases based on the testing strategy provided by the Testing Manager
- Working with the Testing Manager, you’ll lead and coordinate Test Runs from start to finish.
- Conduct ongoing issue review activities and initiate appropriate follow-up actions for each project:
Respond to client issue feedback
Verify Fixed Issues
Review issue backlogs
Make proactive updates of the test plans by incorporating individual tester and client feedback - Raise project and team-related risks, problems, and questions to the Engagement Managers and Testing Managers
- Monitor Testers and Test Leads across multiple runs, providing constructive feedback, involve new testers in runs, and initiate tester reporting whenever necessary
- Escalate any run-related and operational matters to the Testing Manager
- Work closely with other Testing Managers, Engagement Managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Proactively define priorities based on the work backlog, and escalate any priority concerns or conflicts
- With the supervision of the Testing Manager, the Testing Coordinator monitors the project’s quality KPIs and takes appropriate actions to improve them
- Substitutes other Testing Coordinators and acts as a backup when needed
What do you need to succeed?
Technical skills
- Passion, curiosity, and focused interest in the field of software testing
- At least 2 years of hands-on software testing experience, including web, mobile, and OTT media testing and test case development.
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures, including a basic understanding of various Testing methodologies and Testing vocabulary.
- Good comprehension of test automation principles and strategies of its application together with manual testing and excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures.
- Fast learner, continuously improving knowledge in the testing and software development domain.
- Prior customer-facing experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, task delegation, and prioritization capabilities.
Human skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and strong presentation skills, as the role entails talking with clients.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in an environment of constant change.
- Analytical and detail-oriented and can give constructive feedback to testers.
- Someone who likes to have flexibility in their work hours and wants to work remotely.
- Enjoy actively participating in a highly collaborative team.
- Fast learner, continuously improving your knowledge in the testing and software development domain.
- Socially open-minded, expressing empathy and consideration to cultural differences.
- A team player, who values the help of others and the sense of belonging to a team.
