The Role.
As part of our continued growth this year, we’re looking to bring another ‘That Lotter’ onto the helm of our paid social team. This is a great opportunity for someone in the early days of their marketing career that is obsessed with social media and knows the difference between ‘Ads Manager’ and the boost button when it comes to Paid Social. Hopefully you will have gleaned some experience in an agency already and know you love the agency and energy that it brings! We’re working with huge global brands where you’ll have a chance to really refine your account handling skills and creative thinking - yes, at That Lot; even our paid social team are creative!
As a Paid Social Executive, you will be primarily involved in the successful set up of ad campaigns across multiple social platforms. You’ll be responsible for monitoring their performance and actioning any necessary optimisations according to the client’s requirements. A large part of the role will also involve assisting with regular reporting, where you’ll be expected to pick apart the numbers, pulling out actionable learnings and insights. Working alongside internal teams, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles; feeding into work from the Strategy and Creative teams where needed. There will also be an opportunity to support with new business pitches, paid best practices and campaign planning.
Your responsibilities.
- Assisting the team with the set up and optimisation of full-funnel campaigns across Meta & TikTok.
- Working collaboratively across internal teams to advise on creative optimisations and best practice.
- Working with the Paid Social Manager and strategy team to build out distribution campaigns that effectively dovetail into the wider content strategy.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry and platform developments.
- Supporting the Junior Paid Social Manager with the analysis of data, translating this into client-friendly campaign reports with actionable learnings.
Some specific skills you’ll need.
- An excellent understanding of the social landscape and a desire to dive into the world of paid social
- Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multitask and to prioritise tasks where necessary
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Able to interpret numbers and data to derive actionable insights and learnings
- A proactive and curious character with an enthusiasm for continuous learning
Extra Awesome:
- Working experience in the set up and management of paid social campaigns across social media platforms such as Meta and TikTok
- Certifications in Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics or similar credentials
- Being able to demonstrate a passion for social media, creative work and the industry as a whole
- A good sense of humour
