Senior Manager, Marketing Technology & Relationship Intelligence

The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economic consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Technology & Relationship Intelligence to join our Boston or New York office.

The Senior Manager, Marketing Technology & Relationship Intelligence, serves as the strategic and operational lead for Brattle’s marketing technology ecosystem and leads the firm’s client intelligence capabilities. This role combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and business acumen to drive effective use, governance, and optimization of marketing platforms and client data across the firm. It will focus on building a unified view of client relationships and improving access to actionable insights to support the firm’s business development (BD) goals.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform leader and strategic thinker who collaborates across the firm to improve client engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making, including enabling teams to understand “who knows whom,” track client interactions, and make more informed BD decisions.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead Brattle’s marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM (InterAction), ERM, website CMS (WordPress), email marketing (Vuture), and event management (Cvent), ensuring alignment with marketing and business development objectives.
  • Oversee the integration of CRM/ERM with other critical systems (financial data, experience management) to enable seamless access to client intelligence, including relationship networks, client activity, and engagement history.
  • Oversee the day-to-day work of the CRM Specialist and cross-functional contributors, while supporting their ongoing development.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of AI solutions to enhance workflows, improve efficiency, and advance marketing capabilities across the firm, including improving access to data across systems.
  • Drive the selection, implementation, integration, and continuous enhancement of marketing platforms and tools to support evolving business needs.
  • Establish and oversee data governance, quality standards, and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA), ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security across all systems, with a focus on maintaining accurate and usable client data.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor, promoting best practices, standardizing workflows, and maximizing the value and ROI of marketing technology investments, including evaluating opportunities to streamline the technology stack.
  • Lead user enablement and adoption efforts through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across the firm.
  • Monitor emerging marketing technology trends and innovations, including AI-driven capabilities, to enhance firmwide marketing performance.
  • Lead CRM/ERM strategy and oversee day-to-day platform operations, including system administration, configuration, governance, and relationship mapping as a core capability.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and performance of Brattle.com, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business priorities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external developers to deliver website enhancements, technical updates, and roadmap initiatives.
  • Oversee the email marketing automation platform (Vuture), ensuring effective campaign execution and integration within the broader marketing technology ecosystem.

 

THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or training in CRM administration, data governance, marketing technology, business intelligence, or database management preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience managing marketing technology platforms, with demonstrated expertise in CRM, ERM, marketing automation, CMS, and analytics systems, within a professional services or consulting environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building or leveraging client/relationship intelligence systems to support business development, including improving visibility into client relationships.
  • Experience managing and developing team members, including setting priorities, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights for BD teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with pipeline management and opportunity tracking approaches in professional services environments.
  • Strong understanding of data management, integration, and governance best practices.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AI-driven marketing tools and automation platforms to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Proven ability to lead platform implementation projects from concept to execution.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing metrics, campaign tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor non-technical users on complex systems.
  • Expert-level InterAction or other CRM experience, strong WordPress administration skills, experience with Vuture, Cvent, and implementing AI-enabled business process as well as demonstrated success leading technology adoption and data governance initiatives

 

Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in Boston is $157,000 - $175,000 annually.  Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
