What you will do:

 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Brand Director will be responsible for building TheFork’s leadership as the go-to brand in the European restaurant industry (for both diners and restaurants). They will also work to position TheFork as a top employer that attracts exceptional talent across Europe. Together with their team, they will: 

  • Ensure flawless implementation of TheFork’s Brand Book, both by directly executing brand initiatives and by guiding and supporting other teams across the organisation.
  • Lead the execution of our content and communications strategy, including the creation and delivery of high-impact creative assets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Media and CRM teams to drive the creative development of Performance Media and CRM campaigns, ensuring impactful and consistent execution.
  • Foster strong partnerships across Local Marketing, Product Design, and Central Marketing teams, encouraging alignment and collaboration.
  • Elevate TheFork’s brand reputation among diners, restaurant partners, and external talent.
  • Build and champion customer understanding through Consumer & Market Insights (CMI).
  • Embrace and embed AI tools into team workflows, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Marketing Finance to manage and optimise budget effectiveness and maximise return on investment.

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications:

  • Fluent English. Fluent Spanish, Italian or French are a plus.
  • 12+ years in Marketing, with a strong focus on brand building. Digital and e-commerce experience is a significant plus.
  • Proven track record defining, evolving, and implementing brand platforms in a B2C and B2B context.
  • Experience leading global and local teams.
  • Deep expertise in content, communication, and creative development.
  • Strong media expertise, both performance and awareness.
  • Experience in Brand Reputation and narrative development (PR, public affairs, stakeholder engagement).
  • Strong understanding of Consumer & Market Insights (CMI), with the ability to lead insight-driven strategy.
  • Business financial understanding.
  • Highly analytical mindset, comfortable making data-driven decisions, while also trusting experience and gut instinct when data is limited.
