Summary:

The Golden Apple Foundation is seeking a Manager of Recruitment to assist in recruiting Golden Apple Scholars to support our teacher induction programs. We are actively recruiting candidates across New Mexico to address the state's teacher shortage and ensure the highest-quality teachers.

Reports to: Chief Program Officer in New Mexico

Responsibilities:

Recruiting high school seniors through college sophomores for the Golden Apple Scholars program

Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to inform program recommendations ● Attending, developing, and delivering recruitment presentations, both virtual and in-person, to support the growth of the Scholars programs.

Collaborating with school and district leaders and partner organizations to support the recruitment of the two programs.

Coordinating calendars and schedules for the recruitment and engagement of potential program participants.

Reviewing and approving pay and monitoring referrals for our partners who may receive stipends for recruitment.

Be a key team member in Golden Apple's summer professional development through planning relevant courses

Participate in recurring team meetings

Practice excellent interpersonal skills

Strictly maintaining the confidentiality and sensitivity of program related information.

Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership, working with a team, and exploring opportunities to add value to the organization

Other duties as assigned by the New Mexico Chief Program Officer and senior leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related field

Problem-solving skills; ability to reflect on processes and make improvements that can support the New Mexico team.

Entrepreneurial attitude, including a drive for results and proven ability to stay focused on goals; ability to prioritize competing priorities and meet deadlines

Written communication and presentation skills required.

Strong computer and Internet proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, and database applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and courteously with external partners

Degree in a related field, ideally professional recruitment experience.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Possesses strong organizational and Project Management Skills and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously (i.e., leadership, negotiation, scheduling, risk and contract management, critical thinking, and communication)

Willing to travel throughout New Mexico up to 50% of the time.

Able to work independently, including, at times, outside or regular working hours

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members and management

Ability to engage in self-reflection and participate professionally in constructive conversations
