Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst, Member Insights is a key member of THMA's Custom Research team that supports custom research projects, content development, and other member-facing initiatives related to supporting industry member executives. Sr. Analysts conduct primary and secondary research to support analytical and strategic briefs for C-suite executives of major healthcare organizations. Sr. Analysts will assist in the execution of a variety of qualitative and quantitative research contracts and projects, as well as present their findings. This individual will assist at each stage of the research process, ultimately synthesizing key takeaways derived from these member interactions into digestible, must-read content for our members, while also helping to create larger-scale research deliverables, including webinars and in-depth reports.
Primary Job Duties:
- Document findings from primary and secondary research
- Support analysis of findings from qualitative data collected from interviews, site visits, literature reviews etc.
- Conduct interviews with executives from health systems and industry organizations
- Build qualitative and quantitative survey instruments and other data collection methodologies
- Synthesize, write, and present captivating research-based content (e.g., written deliverables and presentations) for member organizations and internal teams
- Collect, input, and analyze health services & health policy data
- Generate graphs and figures for analytic reports and research briefs
- Provide input to senior leadership on opportunities for improving value delivery to member organizations
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Academy members and other client stakeholders
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of experience in a research setting, or a graduate degree in healthcare administration, health policy, business, or related field
- Previous research experience in the healthcare industry
- Project management experience, including efficient planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision or direction
- Experience in client support and service delivery
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong writing skills and experience writing reports
- Strong analytic skills, including the ability to think critically, creatively, and problem solve
- Experience conducting qualitative primary and secondary research

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Salary Range
$84,000 - $90,000 USD
