We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Engineer with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, Azure SQL, and REST APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience building reliable data pipelines and implementing integrations across our SaaS ecosystem — including Salesforce (CRM), Cvent (events), Alchemer (survey), Asana (project management), NetSuite (ERP), Marketo/Salesloft (marketing & sales), and Zoom Meetings.

This role is critical in ensuring our Salesforce CRM and other core business platforms remain scalable, efficient, and data-driven. Your work will directly improve data quality, streamline business processes, and empower leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance to make better, faster decisions. You will also play a key role in enabling downstream analytics by preparing clean, structured data and delivering actionable insights through Power BI dashboards.

 

Notes: This role is hybrid 2 days per week in Arlington, VA and is not eligible for remote work. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

 

Primary Job Duties:

Integration & Automation

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure SQL, Power Automate, and Tray.io.
  • Implement REST API integrations for both real-time and batch data exchanges across systems.
  • Automate workflows across SaaS applications to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Adapt integrations as business needs evolve (e.g., new data sources, schema changes, API deprecations).
  • Contribute to integration reliability through error handling and monitoring (logging, retries, notifications).
  • Apply version control (Git) for scripts and configurations; contribute to tested, controlled deployments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data use cases and priorities; support vendor engagement for API constraints.

Reporting & Analytics Support

  • Prepare clean, structured data in Azure SQL to support reliable reporting and analytics.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Support monitoring of pipelines to ensure data availability, integrity, and performance.

Collaboration & Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, data migrations, and performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Convening) to ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Maintain clear documentation of technical processes, standards, and best practices.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data migration, integration, or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs (authentication, endpoints, error handling).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Query).
  • Experience with Tray.io or similar integration/automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL Database (or similar cloud data warehouse).
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM or comparable systems for ETL.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data modeling and SQL performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS tools such as NetSuite, Marketo, Cvent, and Zoom Meetings/Webinars.
  • Scripting/programming experience (Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar).
  • Exposure to .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET) for light support of internal business applications.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, the ability to maintain a stationary position for an extended period. Ability to lift and move over 20 lbs. Ability to work 16+ hour days when managing meetings onsite.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $120,000 USD
