Our Finance & Commercial Team consists of Financial Reporting Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Risk and Procurement. As trusted Business Partners, we support all Teams across THE ICONIC to execute the business strategy, drive growth and shareholder value, minimise risk, and enable THE ICONIC to continue to deliver a seamless and inspiring experience to our customers.
What you’ll do..
We are looking for a commercially minded FP&A Senior Commercial Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, deliver insightful analysis to stakeholders, and lead process improvements and automation across finance and procurement.
You will own consolidation of month-end and forecasting cycles and partner closely with FP&A, finance, treasury and business teams to improve decision-making and cash conversion.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities..
- Forecasting & Month-end: Drive consolidation and delivery of forecasting and month-end cycles to ensure timely, accurate financial close and reporting.
- Management Reporting: Create monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analysis and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Long-term Planning: Consolidate and report budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial plans across P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
- Financial Operations Support: Support P&L, cash flow and balance sheet activities, including receivables, payables and inventory oversight.
- Commercial Partnership: Partner with business owners and the wider FP&A team to align business initiatives with financial objectives, and to ensure forecasting inputs are accurate and timely.
- Procurement & Cost Optimisation: Collaborate with procurement and business partners to understand purchasing needs, ensure robust procurement processes and identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices.
- Insights & Decision Support: Provide ongoing analysis and high-quality insights to support effective decision-making at business and executive levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with cross-functional teams to manage reporting requests and ensure timely responses.
Skills & Experience required..
- Experience: 3-5+ years in FP&A, financial analysis or commercial finance roles (or equivalent). Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes.
- Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. Professional qualification (e.g., CA/ CPA) desirable.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and working in Gsuite tools
- Analytical skills: Highly analytical with structured, logical thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Commercial acumen: Ability to translate financial data into commercial insights and recommendations.
- Communication & interpersonal skills: Strong stakeholder management, ability to present complex information clearly to non-finance audiences.
