Our Commercial Finance team partners across THE ICONIC to turn complex customer and financial data into clear commercial insights, supporting innovation, tech product launches, and strategic decision-making.
About You..
We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Solutions Analyst with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for using technology to enhance Finance processes and enable better decision-making. This role will play a key part in transforming how Finance operates, shifting the team away from manual ways of working towards smarter, more automated and insight-led processes.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner (Transformation), the Planning and Insights teams, and key stakeholders across the business, you will help design and deliver scalable automation solutions across reporting and insight generation, supporting commercial forecasting and other critical business processes to enable better decision-making.
What you’ll do..
- Support the strategy and delivery of the Finance transformation roadmap.
- Take a hands-on role in delivering finance automation initiatives, from identifying opportunities through to building and implementing workflow solutions.
- Transform manual, Google Sheets-based processes into automated, scalable, and reliable ways of working.
- Bring a solutions-focused mindset to problem-solving, challenging existing processes and identifying smarter, more efficient ways to support Finance and the wider business.
- Help implement, embed, and continuously improve planning and forecasting processes.
- Design and build automation workflows and financial models that streamline data flows across systems and support commercial initiatives and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Planning and Insights teams to enhance forecast accuracy and support self-service reporting, analysis, and insight generation through automated data pipelines.
About you…
- Strong problem-solving skills, supported by a structured, analytical, and logical approach.
- 2+ years’ experience in a technology consulting, finance automation, or technical business analyst role is highly desirable.
- Intermediate SQL skills, with the ability to query, manipulate, and interpret data to support reporting, analysis and automation.
- Experience with low-code workflow automation tools such as n8n, and other AI tools is advantageous, though not essential. Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating business needs into practical finance solutions.
- Strong capability in using reporting, forecasting and financial modelling tools to support business decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
