Employment Type: Part-time, with potential to transition to full-time after 3 to 6 months

Compensation: $25–$35/hour; $80,000–$100,000/year upon conversion to full-time

About Us

Think Academy US Online is one of the largest K–12 online education platforms serving families across the United States. We are part of TAL Education Group, a leading education company with a global presence and currently offer K–12 mathematics programs, as well as English Language Arts (ELA) programs for elementary school students.

We are looking for a Regional Marketing Specialist who is passionate about understanding local communities and connecting with families in the U.S. You will engage directly with parents, communities, and local education resources to identify real user needs and turn those insights into content, community initiatives, events, and growth opportunities.

As you develop a deeper understanding of the market and our business, you will gradually take on greater ownership of a geographic market, with the opportunity to grow into a Regional Marketing Lead / Regional Market Owner.

Responsibilities
  • Market Research & User Insights: Develop a deep understanding of local schools, education resources, parent communities, and market trends. Continuously identify user needs and potential marketing opportunities.
  • Parent Community Engagement: Join and actively engage with local parent WeChat groups, build authentic relationships with parents, participate in conversations, and turn community interactions into actionable user insights.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and create content for platforms such as WeChat and Xiaohongshu based on real parent needs and local market insights. Continuously test and refine content directions.
  • Local Marketing: Plan and execute local parent events, community partnerships, and education-related initiatives. Build relationships with local organizations and community resources.
  • Project Ownership: Independently drive marketing projects from planning through execution and follow-up. Coordinate internal and external resources, manage execution details, and review project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Marketing, Content, Community, Education, Social Media, or a related field
  • Strong user sense and the ability to identify and understand users' needs and behaviors
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to naturally build relationships with parents
  • Strong research, information-gathering, learning, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing or participating in local parent communities in the U.S.
  • Familiarity with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and other community or content platforms
  • Experience in K–12 education, local marketing, offline events, or community partnerships
Compensation & Growth
  • Base Pay: $25–$35/hour; $80,000–$100,000/year upon conversion to full-time
    • High-performing candidates who consistently demonstrate ownership and deliver strong results will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
