Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Primary Care and Women’s Health, Williamsburg

Brooklyn, New York, United States

About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We are hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide flexible, per diem coverage at Tia’s Williamsburg clinic in Brooklyn.

This role is designed for clinicians who want supplemental clinical work without committing to a fixed part-time or full-time schedule. Per diem providers help support planned coverage gaps, high-volume periods, and unexpected staffing needs.

Providers are asked to share at least one day of general availability each week, which may include weekdays or weekends. When coverage is needed, Tia will contact available providers with the shift time and expected arrival time. Providers may accept or decline each individual shift request based on their availability.

Accepted shifts are typically eight hours and may fall between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Same-day coverage requests may require arrival at the Williamsburg clinic within two hours of accepting the shift.

This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who can confidently manage a broad range of primary care and women’s health visits, quickly integrate into an established clinic team, and deliver consistent, high-quality care with minimal ramp time.

  • Evaluate and manage common acute and chronic primary care needs, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory concerns, digestive symptoms, sleep concerns, anxiety, and depression
  • Assess and manage same-day women’s health concerns, including vaginal, vulvar, urinary, pelvic, and reproductive health symptoms
  • Perform IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia’s clinical scope
  • Review results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate appropriate follow-up

  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to triage, prioritize, and adapt quickly
  • Comfort using EHRs, virtual care tools, AI-supported documentation, and evolving clinical workflows
  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
  • Ability to provide at least one day of general availability per week, including weekdays or weekends
  • Ability to report onsite within two hours after accepting a same-day shift

  • Experience in weight management, menopause care, or advanced dermatology
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary, high-growth, or non-traditional care models

Availability and Scheduling

Providers are asked to share at least one day of general availability per week.

Sharing availability does not require you to accept every shift offered. Providers may accept or decline each coverage request based on their availability.

Once a shift is accepted, providers are expected to fulfill the commitment and arrive within the communicated timeframe.

Shifts are typically eight hours and may fall between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Coverage requests may be for planned needs or same-day callouts.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
