Job Summary

Founded in 2018 in Dublin by experienced security engineers, Tines makes enterprise automation simple. We are looking for an IT Manager passionate about technology and automation to help grow and support our operations here at Tines. You’ll have the opportunity to make your mark and build new projects from the ground up.

This is a key role reporting to our Head of IT Operations & Information Security. 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage diverse IT requests from our global team, including hardware support (primarily Apple Mac platform), software troubleshooting (MDM, local installation issues), and network administration (office WiFi, VPNs)
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and ensure proper deployment of controls to all endpoints
  • Lead improvement projects that enhance IT effectiveness (researching tools, implementing proofs of concept, making strategic recommendations)
  • Administer and maintain critical company software and tools (SSO configuration, communications platforms, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the People Team to create a seamless first-day IT experience for new hires
  • Serve as both a people and technology leader, shaping your team and influencing others to deliver on organizational goals
  • Partner with business stakeholders to implement solutions that provide competitive advantage in a fast-paced marketplace
  • Operate within established metrics and SLAs while developing new performance indicators to enhance end-user service
  • Proactively manage infrastructure according to global standards and policies
  • Collaborate across departments to support company-wide objectives
  • Develop and execute technical and personnel roadmaps for your organization
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships and tool implementations, addressing security, financial, and legal considerations
  • Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) and application management to provision appropriate resources for employees

What you bring with you:

  • 12-15 years of IT experience
  • Proven leadership experience within an IT organization
  • Background in Technical/Desktop Support roles
  • Experience managing macOS devices using MDM solutions
  • Genuine commitment to resolving end-user IT issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in managing Google Workspace (GSuite), including email routing rules, Groups, and administrative functions
  • Passion for automation and process improvement
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Exceptional customer service skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a customer service mindset within IT teams
  • Preferred experience leading, guiding, and mentoring remote teams
  • While this role does not include a formal on-call rotation, occasional work outside of standard business hours may be required to address time-sensitive projects, support global teams across different time zones, or respond to critical business needs

Target Annual Compensation: $140,000 - $175,000 salary + equity
