Job Description
As the Pricing and Packaging Lead for AI products & services, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, margin enhancement and customer success by defining and executing a winning pricing and packaging strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative pricing models that capture customer value, optimize profitability, and support the long-term success of our AI offerings. You will build frameworks and operating rhythm for key pricing and packaging changes, working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, finance, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of pricing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- New/existing pricing model/level changes and packaging enhancements:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy for our growing HPC fleet and our cloud AI services, working in close conjunction with the product team, encouraging the adoption of platform services and simplifying the purchasing process.
- Work with and align cross-functional partners on cost analysis to determine optimal pricing levels.
- Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to identify opportunities and threats.
- Conduct willingness-to-pay (WTP) and conjoint analyses to understand customer value perception and pricing sensitivity.
- Drive recommendation and enable decision making around pricing and packaging through a pricing committee
- Create the optimal packaging and the SKU lineup online to drive monetization efforts
- Margin Optimization:
- Analyze financial data to measure the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track pricing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Sales Support:
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, collateral and training to effectively communicate pricing and packaging information to customers.
- Develop pricing calculators and tools to support sales efforts.
- Deal support on pricing and terms for large deals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in pricing, packaging, preferably in the infrastructure technology space.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and deep learning concepts.
- Experience with cloud computing and GPU technologies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
