Key Account Store Operations Specialist - French speaking (w/m/d)

Vienna, Vienna, Austria

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste. Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for a Key Account Store Operations Specialist to join us in Austria and support our Key Accounts team.

We are ideally seeking candidates who can work from our Vienna office 3 days per week. That said, we also welcome applicants based anywhere in Austria, as the role can be performed fully remotely.

You’ll be based in Austria and collaborate closely with our Key Account partners in Switzerland, working with both French- and German-speaking stakeholders. For this role, fluency in French and German is required (C1-C2 level), and familiarity with Swiss German is a strong advantage.

Your mission:

Our Key Account Store Operations team holds responsibility for the engagement, experience and quality of our Key Account stores. As a Key Account Store Operations Specialist you will work directly with these stores, building relationships with store managers and their staff, helping them to maximise the partnership with Too Good To Go and rescue as much food from going to waste as possible.

You will be playing a significant role in our growth and evolution in providing better than ever support and service to our food waste-fighting partners across Switzerland with a focus on French speaking Key Account partners.

Your Role:

You will be working with a portfolio of our top brands across Switzerland and work closely with our Key Account Team. You will also contribute to special projects across all our segments, including Grocery, Hospitality, Cafés, and Food To Go.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role, giving you the opportunity to work directly with stores and ensure our key accounts have everything they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging directly with stores via phone and email to drive store performance, optimise engagement, and increase supply.
  • Supporting stores in using Too Good To Go and our systems, including training new managers and staff.
  • Managing a small group of partners independently, ensuring we are supporting them in achieving their food waste reduction goals.
  • Motivating store teams to reduce food waste and maximise available supply.
  • Gathering store feedback, identifying trends, and escalating insights to the Key Account Manager.
  • Ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers by monitoring store performance and taking action to improve standards.
  • Completing administrative tasks such as updating store information and managing mass updates for public holidays.

What we need:

As this role is entry-level we are not looking for any specific experience, however we are keen for you to demonstrate why you are well-suited to this role - whether that’s from your studies, volunteering work, your personal life or any professional experience. This is what we’re looking for:

  • Care for our mission: you are passionate about fighting food waste and the contribution it makes to the climate crisis
  • Fluency in French and German is a must, you’ll be speaking daily with French and (Swiss) German Partners.
  • Terrific talker (and listener) with the ability to effectively and quickly connect with partners over the phone, and achieve your desired outcomes from the call
  • Excellent written communication skills; someone who can be clear and friendly in a text conversation or email exchange with partners
  • A positive and proactive mindset, ready to adapt to the needs of a fast-growing organisation
  • A team-player who is keen to learn, collaborate, and contribute
  • An affinity working with data and the eagerness to learn
  • An empathetic and patient approach
  • Comfortable in handling repetitive tasks, knowing each task contributes to saving food from going to waste

Our Values:

  • We Win Together
  • We Raise the Bar
  • We Keep It Simple
  • We Build A Legacy
  • We Care

What we offer:

  • WORK FLEXIBLY:
    • Enjoy hybrid working from our great offices (with up to 2 days home office per week). For non Vienna based: fully remote option from anywhere in Austria

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
