🌏 Mission: At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted, which has a huge impact on our planet - 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, to be exact.
💻 Product: Too Good To Go operates the world's largest marketplace for surplus food, where we connect food businesses with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at 50 %+ off retail value. Alongside our app, we create educational tools, operate an end-to-end surplus food management solution, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.
📈 Scale: We’re growing fast: Our community of 133 million registered users and 261,000+ active partners across 20 countries, have together already saved 517+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.4M tonnes of CO2e from entering the Earth’s atmosphere!
⭐️ Impact: We are a certified B Corp social impact company. Too Good To Go was named in Fast Company's list of the World's Most Innovative Companies and World Changing Ideas. We are also honoured to be included in TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies. Most recently, we won Apple’s coveted Cultural Impact Winner.
Your mission:
As a Financial Analyst within our Global FP&A team, you will play a key role in supporting our growing Parcels business unit—our home delivery service that turns manufacturer surplus into value-packed parcels for our users. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the FP&A team plays a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of this business area. You will support everything from financial reporting and forecasting to business cases for strategic projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Finance, Analytics, and the Parcels team.
Your role:
- Month-end Process: Take ownership of reporting for all Parcels markets and support month-end closing, ensuring high-quality, reliable data.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain our ‘actuals’ reporting models so that timely, accurate financial data is always available for decision-making.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Run the Parcels forecast model and support bi-annual planning cycles to guide our strategic direction.
- Data Collaboration: Partner with the Analytics team to improve data quality and maintain our Power BI dashboards, ensuring the consistency of our financial metrics.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to financial models, tools, and reporting processes to drive efficiency. Leverage AI where applicable to streamline workflows
- Ad-hoc Analysis & Strategic Support: Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover business drivers and support business cases, acting as the anchor for financial modelling.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role (FP&A / business finance preferred).
- Strong modelling skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets; high comfort working with imperfect datasets.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting fundamentals, and financial statement analysis.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude; you tackle challenges proactively and are comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Highly structured and able to work independently; you thrive with high autonomy and no micromanagement, bringing your own order to the workflows.
- Experience—or strong interest—in embedding AI into finance workflows and reporting processes.
- Experience with Power BI; experience with SQL, DAX, VBA (or similar) is a plus.
- Based in Copenhagen or open to relocating.
- We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
- We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
- We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
- We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
