Key Account Manager

You probably know us from our app, where we connect supermarkets, restaurants, suppliers, cafés, bakeries, hotels, and specialty stores with our users to rescue surplus food and drinks. Alongside our marketplace, we are developing new solutions such as home delivery, surprise bags in non-food categories, SaaS solutions for waste management, and we actively influence regulation to reduce food waste. Globally, we have already saved over 500 million meals—avoiding more than 1 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions. A huge impact!

We are a proud B Corp social impact organization, founded in 2015 in Denmark and currently active in 20 countries. We launched in Belgium in 2018, and our Belgian team now consists of over 30 "Waste Warriors". With more than 3 million app downloads and around 7,000 partners in Belgium, we are doing our part to achieve our goal: a world without food waste.

Your Mission

You will play a crucial role in the growth of Too Good To Go Belgium and in the fight against food waste. You will leverage your experience in the Foodservice industry and key account management to build the right relationships and develop new growth initiatives with our partners. We continuously work on increasing our relevance to partners through both our existing and new solutions.

You will report to the Key Account Foodservice Lead and be part of a wider team of Key Account Managers. You will be responsible for a portfolio of large and medium-sized partners, managing stakeholders from headquarters to the shop floor. You can't wait to optimize our collaborations by improving our partners' offerings, enhancing the in-store customer experience, and saving as much food as possible from going to waste. You gain energy from building strategic plans and executing them. Your mission: drive more impact!

Your Role

  • Portfolio Ownership: You take full ownership of your client portfolio and strengthen partner relationships at both headquarters (C-level) and store level.

  • Acquisition: You are responsible for the acquisition of potential new partners.

  • Data-Driven Planning: You create data-driven annual plans and business cases, translating them into concrete actions to help partners grow and reduce waste.

  • In-Store Presence: You proactively visit stores and understand shop floor challenges better than anyone. You translate these insights into strategic discussions at headquarters.

  • KPI Management: You closely monitor progress against KPIs and adjust the strategy where necessary.

  • Partner Support: You support our partners in working effectively with Too Good To Go and achieving their goals. This means you don't hesitate to pick up the phone, provide training, onboard new stores, and optimize processes.

  • Best Practices: You share best practices with the team to continuously improve our way of working.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Together with our Marketing, Growth, and Sales teams, you set up campaigns to help stores rescue more food or to onboard new stores.

  • You communicate fluently and professionally in Dutch, French, and English, both with external partners and internal colleagues.
