Technical CRM Manager

København, Hovedstaden, Denmark

🌏 Mission: At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted, which has a huge impact on our planet - 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, to be exact.

💻 Product: Too Good To Go operates the world's largest marketplace for surplus food, where we connect food businesses with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at 50 %+ off retail value. Alongside our app, we create educational tools, operate an end-to-end surplus food management solution, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

📈 Scale: We’re growing fast: Our community of 133 million registered users and 261,000+ active partners across 20 countries, have together already saved 517+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.4M tonnes of CO2e from entering the Earth’s atmosphere! Our partners in North America include Tim Hortons, METRO and Whole Foods Market.

⭐️ Impact: We are a certified B Corp social impact company. Too Good To Go was named in Fast Company's list of the World's Most Innovative Companies and World Changing Ideas. We are also honoured to be included in TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies. Most recently, we won Apple’s coveted Cultural Impact Winner.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a Technical CRM Manager with a focus on B2B to lead the technical development of the Salesforce marketing stack (SFMC, Data 360, and Sales Cloud connectors).

You'll work day-to-day with CRM Managers to support planned campaigns, lifecycle programmes, and partner communications globally, while acting as the B2B technical bridge to our Data, Product, and Engineering teams. You'll collaborate closely with our Automation & MarTech Lead (who owns the broader platform and infrastructure layer) and our Technical Consumer Lead (who owns B2C execution) — your Salesforce expertise is the critical gap this role fills, while your broader CRM fluency means you can also provide technical consultation and QA support on B2C when needed.

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate is a technical CRM guru with extensive AMPScript, Automation, and SQL experience who enjoys coaching non-technical and technical colleagues alike, as well as getting your hands on operational work. You are an expert in omni-channel marketing (email, push, SMS, in-app), marketing automation, relational databases and know how to put processes in place for the team to get things done efficiently in a fast-moving environment. You can also zoom out and see the big picture; your input and expertise related to MarTech stacks, data warehouses & pipelines, personalisation and other CRM-relevant data projects is highly valued.

The successful candidate also has great stakeholder management skills, with the ability to scope and implement new tools to set up in order to deliver best in class CRM comms and maximise engagement from our partners and users.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure deliverability and enablement of all B2B marketing planned campaigns, lifecycle marketing automated programs and operational communications.
  • Scope and implement data flows reconciling different data sources of truth (Sales CRM, Redshift, Amplitude, etc) to unlock our CRM capabilities
  • Work closely with the CRM, Product & Data teams to manage and build specific marketing & service messaging via data integrations, API calls or SQL queries
  • Support the optimisation of email, sms, in-app & push, using AMPScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS
  • Enable experimentation and automations to deliver high-performing B2B marketing campaigns
  • Implement a process to manage our B2B marketing database and contact mapping strategy, GDPR compliance, marketing comms preferences and the cadence of communications received by partners globally across channels
  • Ensure all tracking is set up and working across all channels to enable the business to track results and marketing impact

Requirements

  • Significant years of end-to-end CRM development or implementation experience, with a focus on Lifecycle & Retention marketing
  • Expertise in AMPScript and SQL (including SOQL) is a must — combined with deep hands-on experience across SFMC including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Contact Builder data modelling
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, including a clear understanding of how to set up a Contact Data Model in Contact Builder
  • Some exposure to Braze or a comparable multi-channel platform (e.g. Iterable, MoEngage); a willingness to develop Braze fluency working alongside our Technical Consumer Lead is more important than existing depth
  • A self-starter with an adaptable work-style - able to get results in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player - willing to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines and an ability to inspire and motivate team members to do the same
  • Able to work effectively remotely when required

Good to have

  • B2B marketing background preferred; marketplace or two-sided platform experience a bonus
  • Designing and implementing a Decisioning Studio is a strong plus
  • Experience with implementing/migrating to Data 360 (Data Cloud)
  • Existing hands-on Braze experience is a bonus but not a barrier
  • Experience in SSJS and HTML/CSS is appreciated
  • Knowledge of low-code automation tools (Make, n8n) for internal workflow improvements

Our values

  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
  • We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
  • We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
  • We care: We always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.

What we have to offer

  • A rare opportunity to work in a social impact company (and certified B Corporation!) where you can see real and tangible impact in your role.
  • Working alongside an international community of users, partners and 1,350+ colleagues across 20 countries that are on the same important mission.
  • Personal and professional development opportunities in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • An inclusive company culture where you can bring your authentic self to work
  • A strong, values-driven team culture where we celebrate successes and socialise with colleagues that care.

Benefits

  • WORK FLEXIBLY:
    • Enjoy hybrid working from our great offices, at home or abroad.
    • Extra parental leave and days off beyond local legislation and the option to take an extra week of unpaid leave
    • Health insurance and pension plans (subject to country of employment).
    • Additional days off for significant life events
  • CELEBRATE & SOCIALISE
    • Regular social events like summer and winter parties.
    • Coffee, snacks and fully-equipped kitchens.
    • Get to know our community with a monthly free Surprise Bag
    • Paid volunteer time through our Shareback volunteering programme
    • Women in the Workplace, P.R.I.D.E., People of Colour and Functionally Diverse Employee Resource Groups

How to apply

  • We take recruitment very seriously, so please carefully read everything we have written above. Please also check our website and international media in order to get a good overview of Too Good To Go.
  • Submit your CV and Cover letter in English.
  • Please note that we only accept applications coming through our platform. No CV or Cover Letter will be accepted by email or LinkedIn direct messaging.
