Meet the Team
The SDT (Self-Driving Truck) Base Apps team develops foundational applications that enable our product to be successful. From the communication between our Virtual Driver and our cloud-based Mission Management platform to diagnostics and software update interfaces. We are the over-the-air bridge for communicating with the SDT in a robust and reliable way.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of interfaces between the SDT and Mission Management for Telemetry, Remote Assistance, and Diagnostics (SOVD, UDS) use cases
- Write secure, efficient, and maintainable C++ code for both performance and flexibility
- Clearly communicate daily status on assigned activities and follow company policies and procedures
- Work in a highly collaborative environment
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience (or a Master’s Degree with 1+ years of experience)
- Deep Knowledge of C++
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with ROS2 (Robot Operating System)
- Experience with WebRTC, Video Encoding and Decoding
- Experience with IoT Devices
- Experience with Embedded Diagnostics (SOVD, UDS)
- Experience with Authentication/Authorization (OAuth, SAML, Certificate-Based)
Bonus Points!
- Experience working with cloud-based diagnostics and monitoring
- Familiarity with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity best practices
- Understanding of CAN or Ethernet-based vehicle networks

US Pay Range
$139,000 - $166,800 USD
