Description of Position
To support the continued growth and success of TPG, the Human Resources team seeks a Head of Talent Management. This leader will manage and enhance the firm’s talent ecosystem, overseeing learning, engagement, inclusion, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Development & Performance: Oversight of equitable and effective talent management processes, systems, and tools.
• Learning: Lead the strategy and execution of large-scale firmwide learning curriculum, training programs, and development summits. Own delivery of existing programs such as Global New Hire Orientation, Promotion Programs, Manager Effectiveness Leadership Summits and more, while continuously evolving our learning offerings.
• Engagement: Oversee our People & Culture strategy and initiatives, managing firm Employee Affinity Groups, Talk@TPG programming, and inclusion strategy
• Team Leadership: Provide direct oversight, mentorship, and professional development for a team of 4–6 HR professionals.
Experience and Professional Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, and/or Human Resources; deep experience in Learning programs is a must. Experience in financial services or at leading consulting firms is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in managing complex firmwide initiatives, with focus on hands-on involvement while working with cross-functional teams
• Experience building customized learning content from the ground up, both via external vendors and built in-house, for a wide scope of levels and functional roles.
• Expertise in training methodologies and executive coaching landscape and strategies.
• Direct experience managing a team of HR professionals, with a focus on coaching and high-performance delivery.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into execution plans and analysis of impact
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write and present authentically to stakeholders of all types
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Organizational Psychology or similar field or advanced coaching certifications highly preferred (i.e., Hogan, Predictive Index, etc.)
