What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting and improving our events programs by planning, implementing, and assessing logistics costs and inventory processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective shipping and receiving of products and materials. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, as you will need to provide multiple tracking updates daily to keep shipments on schedule. A thorough understanding of LTL and FTL is essential, as you will manage logistics within the US, Canada, and internationally.
How You'll Help Us Win:
- Work with our TMS provider (Uber Freight) to create, track, and update shipments into and out of Costco Warehouses
- Tracking inventory movements and maintaining clean inventory in the ERP system, Epicor
- Proactive communication with Sales Reps about their inventory and delivery time frames
- Takes responsibility for Costco Roadshow Program costs
- Prepare and update reports (Carrier Usage, Ending Inventory/Sell Through, Lean Inventory, Cost)
- Develop/define new strategies to improve the Costco Logistics program
- Analyze and implement new process for operational efficiencies
- Create new tools for the team to use to aid in tracking shipments, spend and inventory management
- Work closely with the IT project management team to ensure that process improvements are being accomplished in a timely manner
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Transportation or Finance Background
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience in an ERP environment
