The ideal candidate brings deep retail experience, a track record of building internal scorecards to show how retail media investments scale to ROI & revenue and a passion for scaling new processes to bring along cross functional teams.  This individual must be an exceptional executive storyteller, capable of building high-impact presentations that translate deep analysis into clear narratives to secure leadership buy-in for marketing & media investments. 

 

What you'll do:

Channel Strategy & Support – Retail & Marketing 

  • Supports the Director & SVP in shaping Retail Marketing Strategy by building the analysis, narratives, and planning tools that inform business decisions — using brand + product + media investment data to sharpen direction and recommendations. 
  • Builds out QBR Scorecard materials, monthly organization reports, and other analysis that give leadership clear visibility into ongoing plans and performance. 
  • Partners cross-functionally with sales, brand marketing & creative, product, and finance to ensure alignment on priorities, budget & scorecard tools, acting as the connective tissue that keeps workstreams consistent and on-strategy. 
  • Develops the data-backed narratives and presentation materials used in retail partner business reviews, equipping the Director/SVP and account leads with clear, defensible stories for external conversations. 

Insights, Analytics & Performance Management 

  • Standardize performance tracking and reporting across workstreams, supporting process owners and applying a structured approach to tactical operational execution. Key working items include: Retail Media ROI trackers, post-reporting of marketing investments, KPI tracking & executive-level share-outs & communications. 
  • Own end-to-end retail media ROI analysis — from raw platform and POS data to validated, defensible metrics — and translate findings into compelling results reporting for both internal executives and external retail media partners (e.g., QBRs, JBPs, post-campaign readouts). 
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) that connect retail media investment to sell-through and revenue outcomes, enabling faster, more confident decision-making across the team. 
  • Pioneer new tools and execute key deliverables for our annual planning process, new product launches, and annual retail partner marketing investments, including materials for executive reviews & scorecards. 
  • Partner with teams to pilot, operationalize, and support AI-driven tools and workflows across the retail team & marketing. 
  • Leverage shopper data, retail insights, and analytics to drive strategy and improve retail effectiveness. 
  • Develop quarterly & annual marketing plans tied to clear performance KPIs and ROI targets, optimizing investments based on performance and goals. Build out a scorecard & check-in system to monitor & report on retail performance. 

What you need:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail, channel marketing, Strategy and/or Brand Marketing and CPG  
  • Strong background in driving success with existing retail partners, managing launches and optimizing investments for growth 
  • Expertise in managing a marketing budget and optimizing spends for measurable impact, specifically retail media networks. 
  • Excellent relationship management, communication skills and building tools to support retail performance narratives.
