Through critical thinking, creative consultation and expert execution, MXW is uniquely tailored to support clients along the entire lifecycle of modern entertainment from an upstream strategy to consumer campaign.

MXW is looking for a new Account Executive based in London. The role requires exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills, supporting the client services team with the day-to-day running of various projects.

The ideal candidate is a confident and dynamic self-starter, likes to learn, a people person, and has the skills to think laterally and conceptually to bring briefs to life through standout visual execution.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Account Coordination (40%)

  • Support the Client Services team with the planning and development of projects ensuring quality control and deadline adherence across pitch presentations, sales collateral, marketing materials, brand guides and idea generation
  • Interpret briefs (strategy, nuance and ambition) and communicate with the client on additional information required
  • Client liaison including arranging calls & meetings, diarising calendars, preparing agendas and taking minutes, ensuring effective communication of any resulting actions required
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and affiliated agencies 

Creative Asset Support (30%)

  • Work with the Client Services Director and Design Director to manage and log client materials
  • Manage creative assets including style & branding guides, concept art, key art, title treatments and unit photography
    Ensure downloading, documenting, filing process & systems, circulation to relevant parties, tracking and security protocols are adhered to
  • Gather reference images for mock ups to help with design approach and make suggestions for headline copy e.g. messaging on social posts
  • Manage updates to presentations revising copy, images and layouts - and uploading to secure client portals

Strategic Development (20%)

  • Contribute to ideation for campaigns, partnerships & product, activation concepts and marketing hooks
  • Research competitive and comparative film/series titles, campaigns and stay up to date with the global film and streaming slate
  • Contribute to internal-facing and client ideation sessions
  • Cultural insight and creative sweeps tailored to a specific property
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies & trends and demonstrate understanding of how they integrate into key client ideas

 Team & Office Coordination (10%)

  • Contribute to live work schedule, team planner, tracking of deliverables and project status
  • Support with general office management duties including fielding calls, taking messages, front of house, ordering & maintaining office supplies, refreshments and stationery
  • Liaising with the landlord/management agent, contractors and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the workplace
  • Organising logistics for MXW staff away days, holiday parties, team socials, trade events, client gifting, photo/video shoots including registrations, travel, accommodation, restaurant bookings, and scheduling meetings
  • Diary management, travel arrangement and itineraries for MXW senior team
  • Any other duties which the Company shall reasonably require from time to time

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and Outlook
  • Highly organised individual who is detail orientated and able to work under pressure
  • A creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and personability
  • Professional appearance and demeanour for interfacing with clients
  • An interest in the zeitgeist that can influence ideas and tactics
  • Awareness of current film, culture and trends
