Production Assistant

Trailer Park Group is looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated Production Assistant to work in our Hollywood Office.

Multitasking, troubleshooting, and organizational skills, along with dedication to the position and its responsibilities, are essential. Production Assistants must sometimes handle high-pressure situations with a focused and positive attitude. Potentially long hours and weekend work are asked of the team. A strong interest in post-production is mandatory, with the ideal candidate having a familiarity with non-linear editing software is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Managing assets that come in and out of the building via FileMaker software.
  • Scheduling of FedEx and local courier services for timely deliveries.
  • Handle pickups and deliveries of assets within the greater Los Angeles area as needed.
  • Facilitate data transfers to local internal servers.
  • Checking in/out visitors of the building, maintaining security protocols, and providing a welcoming environment.
  • Arrange meal orders for onsite teams to enhance their productivity.
  • Jump in as needed to cover reception duties, providing professional and courteous support at the front desk.
  • Handle incoming calls with a cheerful voice, directing inquiries easily and professionally.
  • Assist with miscellaneous Post-Production tasks to support the onsite teams effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Strong ability to work independently, possessing good communication skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with non-linear editing software is highly desirable.
  • Quick learner who can adapt to new workflows and software efficiently. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve but also know when to ask for help.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours with short notice.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
  • Must have personal car, car insurance, California driver's license and a clean driving history for runs. Mileage will be reimbursed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Please note that a potential offer for employment will be determined based on a number of factors, that may include experience, unique skills and/or other qualifications, location, performance factors (current employees), and a variety of business and budgetary considerations.
