Trinity Park Talent - Talent Research & Outreach Specialist

Remote (anywhere in the U.S.)

Part-Time | Remote | Flexible Schedule

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the investigative side of recruiting—learning about businesses, identifying professionals who may be a strong fit, and creating thoughtful outreach that encourages meaningful conversations. We focus on quality over quantity, with an emphasis on research and personalized engagement rather than high-volume activity or sales quotas.

About Us

We help growing companies make better hiring decisions.

Our work combines thoughtful research, meaningful conversations, and a structured evaluation process to help clients identify exceptional talent. Rather than relying on high-pressure recruiting tactics or transactional hiring, we focus on understanding our clients' businesses, representing their organizations professionally, and delivering a repeatable process that leads to better hiring outcomes.

Our clients range from privately held operating companies—including manufacturing and industrial services—to sophisticated financial services and business consulting firms. Across industries, we generally work with small teams where every hire matters.

Our Approach

We believe recruiting should be respectful.

Candidates should feel informed—not pressured.

Every interaction reflects our reputation, and we strive to create a positive experience for every candidate, whether they're hired or not. We value professionalism, curiosity, empathy, thoughtful communication, and a genuine desire to help people make informed career decisions.

We're looking for someone who shares this approach—someone who enjoys deeply understanding the unique needs of a specific business and connecting exceptional people with meaningful career opportunities.

The Opportunity

As a Talent Research & Outreach Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping identify exceptional candidates for professional positions.  Most of our searches involve mid-level, high-impact professional and management roles within small to mid-sized businesses. Occasionally, we partner with clients on executive-level searches. Our work spans a variety of functions, including customer service, sales, operations, human resources, supply chain, finance, and management consulting.

After learning about the unique needs of a specific business, you'll research industries, companies, and professionals to build targeted candidate lists and execute thoughtful outreach that encourages meaningful conversations with potential candidates.

This is a fully remote, part-time, independent contractor position with a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Research industries, competitors, and target companies to identify professionals whose backgrounds align with the qualifications specified by the client
  • Use LinkedIn, company websites, industry associations, networking, and other online resources to conduct candidate research
  • Write personalized outreach messages that are authentic, thoughtful, and professional
  • Manage outreach campaigns and follow-up communications
  • Track sourcing activity and candidate engagement within our recruiting system
  • Collaborate on creative sourcing strategies when traditional approaches aren't producing enough qualified candidates
  • Continuously learn and experiment with recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and new methodologies to improve results

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by quality rather than volume. Rather than sending hundreds of generic outreach messages, you'll focus on identifying and engaging professionals who are genuinely well-suited for a particular opportunity. A successful month typically results in approximately 5–10 qualified candidates who are interested in learning more and willing to have an initial conversation with the Managing Director leading the search.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience demonstrating strong research skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build rapport through thoughtful, personalized written communication
  • Intellectually curious and motivated by continuous learning. You enjoy researching unfamiliar industries, businesses, and roles, and developing a deeper understanding of how organizations operate.
  • You are always looking for better ways to solve problems, improve processes, and leverage new tools and technology to produce exceptional work. You have a genuine love of learning and appreciate being in a role where curiosity is part of the job description.
  • Resourceful and self-directed. When you don't know something, your first instinct is to research it, ask thoughtful questions, and seek out the information you need to confidently move forward.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and consistently produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in any of the following is valued, but not required:  recruiting, executive search, market research, competitive intelligence, journalism, consulting, business analysis, education, library sciences, or other roles requiring strong research, communication, and analytical thinking

Who Thrives in This Role

Because this is a fully remote, flexible, project-based role, people who may find this opportunity especially appealing include those who are:

  • Building an independent consulting practice, recruiting practice, or other business venture
  • Exploring a transition between careers
  • Returning to professional work after time away
  • Looking for intellectually engaging work in semi-retirement
  • Balancing other commitments and seeking meaningful, flexible work
  • Interested in supplementing their primary income with flexible, project-based work

What matters most to us isn't your current career stage—it's your curiosity, professionalism, judgment, and commitment to producing excellent work.

Work volume and availability will fluctuate based on our client projects and may be intermittent. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with this type of project-based work and is interested in either a short-term opportunity, periodic supplemental income, or building a longer-term relationship over time. We currently have an immediate need for someone who can commit to part-time work for at least two months, with the potential for additional opportunities as our business and client needs grow.

Compensation

  • Independent contractor (1099)
  • Part-time, project-based work
  • Flexible schedule
  • $35–45 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities
  • Expense coverage for agreed upon learning opportunities, tools, or subscriptions that support the work

A Note from the Founder

I started this business because I believe hiring can be done thoughtfully and respectfully. I enjoy partnering with clients, understanding their businesses, and helping them make great hiring decisions. I'm looking for someone who shares those values—someone who enjoys research, appreciates professionalism, and takes pride in doing excellent work. If this sounds like the kind of work you would enjoy, I’d love to meet you.

- Hope
