We seek a Senior Brand Designer to help define, evolve, and execute the brand identity for one of the world’s most iconic travel brands. To succeed, you must be a creative thinker and storyteller, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work comfortably within a cross-disciplinary team.

The design team within our brand creative team partners cross-functionally with the entire organization to create human-centered, innovative, and accessible designs that communicate our brand message and values visually. We aim to show up cohesively and consistently by making design choices that allow us to stand out amongst our competitors and engage our target audience. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Concept and design stellar work that connects with travelers across all of Tripadvisor’s channels: web, app, email, social, and beyond
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company – including brand, marketing, product, CRM, content, and beyond — to concept and produce communications and campaigns that creatively solve business challenges
  • Help evolve the Tripadvisor brand identity and build upon guidelines to ensure intent and values are expressed across our products and channels.
  • Communicate a point of view on design trends; actively bring references to the team
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to ensure the work is cohesive and pushes the brand forward

 

Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience—a mix of working in-house at a brand or agency experience is preferred
  • An industry-leading portfolio that demonstrates originality, innovation, problem-solving, and personal expression
  • Exceptional visual design chops, with an expert eye and appreciation for photography, typography, composition, layout, color, and a pixel-level attention to detail
  • Experience with building or maintaining design systems
  • Ability to communicate creative concepts and articulate solutions to project stakeholders
  • Ability to use insights and research to inform design choices
  • Design experience working across a range of channels
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma
  • Motion design and video skills are a plus

The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
